Tabletop Accessories and Fall Decor
Fall is in full swing as October has started and the weather has cooled. It’s time to really think about changing the way your household looks and embrace the warm color tones and the decorative choices of the fall. The right tabletop accessories can change your dining room table, kitchen, or even just the table in your entryway to make it feel more festive for the season.
First you should focus on choosing colors. Orange, gold, brown and red are all perfect in that they reflect the changing colors of the leaves outside. These warm tones will really stand out in any room. Bamboo or dark placemats will compliment well against a deep red or burnt orange tablecloth for the dining room. A wood flatware caddy will be the perfect accessory to bring out the “nature” of autumn.
Pumpkins, squash and gourds are great ways to bring a bit of farm flare to the kitchen or dining room. It’s the season for all those great crops so having them in the home is a nice way to accessorize with something a little bit different!
